12 days after accident ~ January 26th |
On January 26th ~ Hannah shared some of the struggles that she was facing just 12 days after her accident:
"You can't move. You can't scratch. You hurt but you can't trust your body to know where the pain is coming from. My bladder hurts. My hips hurt. It is so easy to lose my mind, but I HAVE to stay focused. I won't let Satan have my mind. God IS going to use this some day!"

First family visit ~ January 29th |
On January 29th ~ Hannah had the entire Cunnings family as well as David, Liz, Ann and I to visit from 1 to 3:30pm. Hannah pulled her two oldest children aside to talk to them about their feelings before the rest of the family arrived. She told them it was ok to be sad, mad, or afraid. Hannah talked to family about the night of the accident. Bonner showed her videos from their church service with people praying for her and worshipping.

Physical Therapy ~ February 3rd |
Text received on February 3rd after my visit:
"To all... Hannah is doing GREAT! She's been standing on her own for short periods of time and has marked improvements in movements. Her rehab team has said that they have NEVER seen anyone with her type of injuries make so much progress in so short of a time! She's truly a miracle. Please continue to hold her and her family up to the Lord in prayer. These days are difficult, but God is holding them and keeping them all strong. Thanks for your prayer and support! Lovingly in or Lord. Lynette"

On February 8th ~ Hannah smiled a lot during this PT session. It's obvious that she is building a relationship with her PT staff.

Starbucks ~ February 11th |
We walked Hannah down the street and in to a Starbucks. We may have ventured farther than she is supposed to go, but it was worth it. We sat by the window with a view of City Hall. We talked about creating this blog and their desire that God would use their story to somehow bless others.
