Our faith

We have designed this section to reveal how Hannah overcame paralysis.

It surely was not luck...It was not just medical science...It was not just her dedication and hard work...

It was a complete gift from GOD
It is was what is commonly called a MIRACLE
It was a desperate family believing what has been promised to all mankind for thousands of years...

 GOD is a healer

In actuality it was our trust in who Jesus Christ said he was...the healer
It was our belief that what he did when he walked this earth long ago, he would do for us.

And guess what? It worked!

Who would be unwilling to receive such a gift?
If you are willing to receive the person of Jesus, then you can have what He did for you!

Listed below are the promises of GOD that we fought with. We meditated, prayed, spoke, talked about and believed these words that are recorded in the Bible. They brought about a miracle change in our lives!

Use them and they will work for you too!

Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would." And his servant was healed at that moment. (Matthew 8:13 NIV)

This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah:
"He took up our infirmities
and bore our diseases." (Matthew 8:17 NIV)

He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering." (Mark 5:34 NIV)

He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering." Overhearing what they said, Jesus told them, "Don't be afraid; just believe." (Mark 5:34, 36 NIV)

When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, "Do you believe that I am able to do this?"
"Yes, Lord," they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, "According to your faith let it be done to you"; and their sight was restored." (Matthew 9:28-30 NIV)

Surely he took up my pain
and bore my suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for my transgressions,
he was crushed for my iniquities;
the punishment that brought me peace was on him,
and by his wounds I  am healed. (Isaiah 53:4, 5 NIV)

"He himself bore my sins" in his body on the cross, so that I  might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds I  have been healed." (1 Peter 2:24 NIV)

God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him. (Acts 10:38 NIV)

Christ redeemed ME from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for me, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole." (Galatians 3:13 NIV)

All sickness, disease and pain is the curse. He redeemed me from it!

Dear friend, I desire above all that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. (3 John 1:2 NIV)

Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith WILL make the sick person well; the Lord WILL raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. (James 5:14-16 NIV)

And these signs  will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons;   they will speak in new tongues;   they will pick up snakes  with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on  sick people, and they WILL get well." (Mark 16:17, 18 NIV)

Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them. The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. And they praised the God of Israel. (Matthew 15:30, 31 NIV)

Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing EVERY disease and sickness. (Matthew 9:35 NIV)

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (John 10:10 NIV)

A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. (Matthew 8:2, 3 NIV)

I cried to the Lord in my trouble,
and he saved me from my  distress. He sent out his word and healed me;
he rescued me from the grave. (Psalm 107:19, 20 NIV)

Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all my sins
and heals all my diseases, (Psalm 103:2, 3 NIV)

I dwell  in the shelter of the Most High
I rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I  say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust." Surely he  saves me
from the fowler's snare
and from the deadly pestilence. He  covers me with his feathers,
and under his wings I  find refuge;
his faithfulness is my shield and rampart. I do not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at my side,
ten thousand at my right hand,
but it will not come near me. I only observe with my eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked. I say, "The Lord is my refuge,"
and I  make the Most High my dwelling, no harm will overtake me,
no disaster will come near my tent. For he will command his angels concerning me
to guard me in all my ways; they will lift me up in their hands,
so that I will not strike my foot against a stone.
I will tread on the lion and the cobra;
I will trample the great lion and the serpent.
 "Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him;
I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble,
I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation." (Psalm 91:1-16 NIV)

He said, "If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you." (Exodus 15:26 NIV)

I worship the Lord my God, and his blessing is on my food and water. He said "I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span." (Exodus 23:25, 26 NIV)

 I am the body of Christ, and each one of us is a part of it. (1 Corinthians 12:27 NIV)

I am not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:21 NIV)

I am from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in me is greater than the one who is in the world. (1 John 4:4 NIV)

Even though I walk
through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod (word) and your staff (spirit),
they comfort me. (Psalm 23:4 NIV)

In righteousness  I will be established:
Tyranny will be far from me;
I have nothing to fear.
Terror will be far removed;
it will not come near me. (Isaiah 54:14

No weapon forged against me will prevail,
and I  will refute every tongue that accuses me.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and this is their vindication from me,"
declares the Lord. (Isaiah 54: 17 NIV)

I am  like a tree planted by streams of water,
I will yield my fruit in season
and my leaf does not wither—
whatever I do prospers. (Psalm 1:3 NIV)

He gave himself for my sins to rescue me from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father (Galatians 1:4 NIV)

In the way of righteousness for me there is life and there is no death;
along that path is immortality. (Proverbs 12:28 NIV)

 I do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive myself, I do what it says. (James 1:22 NIV)
I  look intently into the perfect law that gives me freedom, and I continue in it—not forgetting what I  have heard, but doing it—I WILL be blessed in what I  do. (James 1:22, 25 NIV)

I take up the shield of faith, with which I extinguish ALL the flaming arrows of the evil one. (Ephesians 6:16 NIV)

 I grow in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that I  may have great endurance and patience (Colossians 1:10, 11 NIV)

I am delivered from the power of darkness and brought  into the kingdom of the Son he loves (Colossians 1:10, 11, 13 NIV)

I can do all this through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13 NIV)

"Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength." (Nehemiah 8:10 NIV)

The Lord is my light and my salvation
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life
of whom shall I be afraid? (Psalm 27:1 NIV)

The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guards my heart and my mind in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true (essential), whatever is noble (high morals), whatever is right (lawful), whatever is pure (faultless ), whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy— I think about such things. (Philippians 4:7, 8 NIV)

I do not let any unwholesome talk come out of my mouth, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. (Ephesians 4:29 NIV)

I speak the truth in love. I will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.  (Ephesians 4:15 NIV)

I Let perseverance (patience) finish its work so that I  may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. (James 1:4 NIV)

But I let endurance and steadfastness and patience have full play and do a
thorough work, so that I may be perfectly and fully developed [with no
defects], lacking in nothing. James 1:4.AMP

I don't try to get out of anything prematurely. I Let it do its work so I become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way. James1:4.MSG

I glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Ghost which is given unto me. Romans 5.3.KJV

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. (James 1:12 NIV)

And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue(moral excellence); and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance (self control) ; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of ourLord Jesus . 2Peter 1.5.KJV

On this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." (Matthew 16:18, 19 NIV)

Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size-abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become. 2 Corinthians 12:10 MSG

Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 12.10.NASB

  1. Scriptural promises, and words of encouragement from pastor John Purcell:

    My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. (2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV)

    "Sufficient" means to build a wall and barrier against the enemies onslaught. No matter what the enemy attacks with, he CANNOT get past God's wall of grace around the believer and their call.This applies to Hannah and your family

    "God is honoring what you are asking for...and not just about Hannah's recovery. All that you have been asking Him for."

    My son, pay attention to what I say;
    turn your ear to my words. Do not let them out of your sight,
    keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them
    and health (and medicine)to your whole body. (Proverbs 4:20-22 NIV)

    Had unction for intercession a week before the accident, that something tragic was threatening. Three other people besides Hannah were all in serious car injuries. The enemy failed with all of them. He could not kill them.

    Not only do Stella and I believe for a full revovery, but we know that this will be become a great platform of testimony.I expect a wild Miracle to occur...being that this is the day and time for the miraculous.

    For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion you shall rejoice in your portion: therefore in your land you shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto you. Isaiah 61.7

    The Lord your God is with you,
    the Mighty Warrior who saves.
    He will take great delight in you;
    in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
    but will rejoice over you with singing. (Zephaniah 3: 17)

    He has not forgotten your faithful service. He might need to carry your family for a time but you will soon run your race with fervor(holy zeal). As I prayed I also recalled the dream I had in which God said to me through Hannah he would repay us 70 years of wages which were stolen.

    God is a God of Justice!

  16. Scriptures from Sue Sheperd:

    But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. Therefore, as it is written: "Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord." (1 Corinthians 1:27-31 NIV)

    He gives strength to the weary
    and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary,
    and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
    They will soar on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not grow weary,
    they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:29-31 NIV)
